- a letterfrom israel Monday, December 29, 2008 11:45 PM To Family & Friends, There is a report that a rocket fell on Kibbutz Nahal Oz and a man was killed. The rocket hit the army base opposite the Kibbutz and the name of the base is Nahal Oz.

- prior to our local daily "middletown times herald record being purchased by newsgroup/dow jones/ottoway, my frequent contributions to the letters page were printed. under the new management, it appears that i and many more have become persona non grata.
